Save And Teach The Innocent

April 2026 Update: Land purchase funds have been raised, we are currently in the process of purchasing the first acre from the Maasai community near Arusha. Phase 1 is underway.

Primary School Project

Our Graduates Deserve Better Than What Comes Next

SATINO children leave our preschool prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Then they walk into Tanzania's public primary schools and face a very different reality. We are building a solution.

Corporal Punishment Beating children for mistakes is standard practice in Tanzanian public schools, many SATINO graduates long to come back rather than face it.
Overcrowded Classrooms 80โ€“100 students per teacher is common, leaving children without the individual attention they need to keep up.
Hidden Costs Despite being nominally free, public schools charge for uniforms, exam fees, and maintenance, costs many families simply cannot afford.
Children Falling Behind Without quality early preparation, children fall behind in literacy, numeracy, and English, limiting their opportunities for life.

Why Now

Land Prices Are Rising. Every Month Counts.

Arusha is one of Tanzania's fastest-growing cities, over 2 million people in the region and expanding fast. Land on the outskirts of the city is being bought up quickly and prices are climbing every year.

The Maasai community land near Arusha where we plan to build is available now. Waiting risks losing it entirely, or paying significantly more in future phases.

Land Prices Increasing Fast Arusha's rapid growth means land near the city is becoming increasingly expensive, acting now secures the best value for donor funds
Maasai Community Agreement An agreement with the local Maasai community for the first acre, with option on 2 more, is in place. This secures long-term expansion at a fair price
Graduates Need It Now Children are graduating from our preschool every year and walking into a broken system. Every year we delay is another cohort facing overcrowding and violence
